We are looking for a warm, observant Classroom Assistant to support our 3–6 classroom at the Merrion school. This is a term-time position with an immediate start.

About the role

Working alongside the Directress, you will help maintain the prepared environment, support children in their daily routines, and assist with practical life activities. Much of the work is quiet observation and gentle guidance rather than direct instruction.

What we are looking for

• Experience working with children aged 3–6, in any setting
• An interest in the Montessori approach — a qualification is welcome but not essential
• Patience, warmth and a calm presence
• Garda vetting — we will support you through this process
