Edris obtained his Higher National Diploma from East London College and his BSC from Open University. He joined the Refix IT Solutions as a staff member in 2013 and has held positions on Main site and at the Network Data Center. He has 13 years of IT experience spanning public, private, and academic sectors and has served in roles ranging from System Engineer of a private and public organisations.
Edris has a long history of technical management at St. Nicholas and a deep functional understanding of the teaching and learning mission from admission to graduation. He provides leadership for the Learning Management System and academic applications, video production and conferencing, classroom technologies, campus computing labs, technologies for surveys and elections, faculty evaluations, test scoring, Library managements both staff and students. Edris manages the voice and data networks for the St. Nicholas College. This responsibility includes the Network/cable plant facilities, and network and security alarms over the network.
