The main examination periods take place in January, May and August and take place over a two-week period, with exams in the morning, afternoon and evening. Invigilators must be punctual, attentive, have good attention to detail and possess good communication skills.

The rate of pay for general Invigilation is €16.22 per hour and for trained reader/scribes is €19.94 per hour.
