 St. Nicholas Montessori Teachers Association is expanding its work to support Montessori education in Ireland and is seeking an additional staff member to join our team, in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.

Position: Part-Time Administrator
Hours: Equivalent of 1 day per week; flexible working hours
Contract: Fixed-term contract from February 2026 to December 2026. Continuation into the following year will be subject to funding approval from the Department of Children, Disability and Equality.
Start Date: 2 February 2026

Requirements:

The successful candidate must demonstrate a passion for education and a strong desire to implement and model the authentic Montessori philosophy and curriculum, ensuring high standards within all aspects of school life. Knowledge and experience of implementing the aims and learning goals of Aistear, The Early Years Curriculum Framework and an understanding of Síolta standards and components are required. The candidate should have the ability to promote a positive and supportive ethos where all pupils are valued, encouraged and challenged to achieve the best they can. 

Qualification: 

QQI Level 7/8 qualification in Montessori Education, St. Nicholas/Association Montessori International (AMI) or equivalent.  2/3 years of classroom experience required.

First Aid (FAR preferred)

Garda Vetting and 2 references are required.

The Children’s House Primary, Stillorgan, Dublin

The Children’s House Primary (TCHP), a Montessori school based in Stillorgan, Co Dublin is currently hiring for a part time Irish teacher, to work with students in the 2nd to 6th classes for 4 afternoons per week, from 1.30pm – 3pm.
